As mentioned of my first reply, the slot uses different socket. There are 3 types
Different socket types are part of the M.2 specification that requires support for specific device types within a given socket.
Socket 1 is designed for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth®, NFC and WI Gig
Socket 2 is designed for WWAN, SSD (caching) and GNSS
Socket 3 is designed for SSDs (both SATA and PCIe, up to x4 performance)
Yes, the WLAN and WWAN are not interchangable because they use different socket. But socket 2 is not suitable for SSD's even it has same connection layout. Your Sandisk M.2 is designed to use socket 3.
Hope this makes sense.
Regards.

Hi,
Is it the WWAN card ? If yes then it won't work because this is a different architecture and this slot is suitabale for WWAN card only.
