hi , i have a hp probook 4510s laptop . There is a intel core2duo T6570 cpu on my laptop.

Does it support intel core2duo T9550 cpu?

I see plenty of T9600's for sale on eBay, such as this one...The seller ships to Turkey too according to the listing.

Since the specs state the T9550 is not supported, I would say no.

If you want to install one then it would be a gamble on your part, when a sure bet would be the T9600.

I found a very affordable t9550 from a local dealer. 60TRLira's (about 8usd)

I give up what you say you don't support , until i find the T9600 😕

You're very welcome.

You can try it but it may not work.

The two processors are the same family and have the same specs except for the processor speed.

The problem is, if the notebook's BIOS does not have support for the T9550's microcode, it won't work right if at all.

Since HP doesn't publish what microcode info is in the BIOS, the only way to see if it would work or not would be to install it and find out.

I have one more problem

Even though I shut down my computer, my usb cooler is still working. So the usb power does not go off. What setting should I change from the BIOS screen?
