You have HP cloud recovery
To get more information about your PC go to the below site and put in your serial number
Thank you for sharing your country code AR6, I will add it to my list.
Can you tell me what language windows is displayed in? Thank you!
if your product ID was 805V2PAR#AR6 then it was refurbished. There is an additional R in the ID and it must be removed for the cloud recovery to work.

Thanks for the reply, but it still doesn't answer my questions about the #AR6 code (I was told it's a regional code, but there's no AR6 everywhere I searched) and whether my laptop is refurbished or not based on that.

I do not know where the AR6 comes from. I asked about it and no one here is privy to that info.
I have a collection of country codes that I found using google and I made a list that public at Github.
AFAICT you do not have a refurbished system.
Some other info that might be useful

Could you explain this further? "if your product ID was 805V2PAR#AR6 then it was refurbished. There is an additional R in the ID".
Is it possible that the R in the #AR6 regional code indicates refurbished product? Or the R is always before the # at the end of the product number?
The Windows 11 Home is in English, I selected that during the first time boot setup.

Other than users like you responding, I have found the following lists using bing an google
Hewlett Packard Keyboard Layout & Language and Localisation Codes - hpcfactor.com
and this "not secure" site that will load using firefox

AFAICT the additional R at the end of the ID indicates refurbished. The #AR6 is a localization code to get correct language and keyboard.
I do not know of any way to determine if a vendor has sold your a used PC as a new one. I just asked the AI robot ChatGPT and got this answer
To determine if your new HP laptop might have been previously used, you can follow these steps:
1. Check the Physical Condition
- Inspect for Wear and Tear: Look for any scratches, dents, or signs of wear on the laptop's body, keyboard, and screen.
- Check the Packaging: Ensure the packaging is intact and includes all original accessories, manuals, and protective coverings.
2. Review System Information
- System Logs: Check the system event logs for the first use date.
- Open the Event Viewer (type Event Viewer in the Windows search bar).
- Navigate to Windows Logs > System.
- Look for the earliest event logs to determine when the laptop was first used.
3. Examine the BIOS/UEFI
- BIOS/UEFI Settings: Check the BIOS/UEFI settings for any previous configurations.
- Restart your laptop and enter the BIOS/UEFI (usually by pressing F2, F10, or Del during boot).
- Look for any signs of previous changes or configurations.
4. Check the Warranty and Activation Date
- Warranty Status: Visit the HP support website and enter your laptop's serial number to check the warranty status.
- Windows Activation Date: Check when Windows was first activated.
- Open Command Prompt as an administrator.
- Type slmgr /xpr to see the activation status and date.
5. Verify Installed Software
- Pre-installed Software: Check for any non-standard software or files that might indicate previous use.
- Go to Settings > Apps and review the list of installed applications.
- Look for any software that wouldn't typically be pre-installed on a new device.
6. System Uptime and Usage
- System Uptime: Check the system's uptime to see how long it has been in use.
- Open Command Prompt and type systeminfo.
- Look for the "System Boot Time" entry to see when the system was last started.
7. Check for User Accounts
- User Accounts: Look for any existing user accounts.
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Family & other users and see if there are any accounts other than your own.
8. Check the Hard Drive for Old Data
- Disk Usage: Look for any old data or file remnants on the hard drive.
- Open File Explorer and examine the main directories (e.g., Documents, Downloads) for any unexpected files.
By thoroughly checking these areas, you can determine if your new HP laptop was previously used.
