Has anyone been able to buy these flamin' rubber strips that go at the bottom of the computer? At the moment you can't even get them from the HP PartSurfer website. Useless!!

Well the good news is that I've managed to buy some cheap rubber feet (non HP) that fit into the space but not perfectly. They also only cost about £6.00 from ebay compared to the rip off prices HP charge, which you can't buy anyway. This has turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

Hi @DFinn

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region for assistance on this or you may order the replacement parts on the HP Store

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!

Thanks, the parts department has the item greyed out and the website refers you back to community support, hence the purpose for coming here.

Have you tried reaching the Phone support team?

Yes, HP said we can't help you. Nice of HP to sell you a computer that is not even 2 years old and leave you in the lurch when you need a part.

I did manage to speak to a supplier in the UK who can supply them. The parts arrive from Europe and take about 2 weeks. After he saw the price his jaw dropped, £51.54 (GBP) for allegedly two rubber strips (might be one). After he finished having a shocker he stated what a rip off HP was and said he wasn't going to get them for me as he didn't make any money on them either.

The search continues.......
