HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 13-ay0008ca
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP 13-ay0008b laptop recently had its LCD display panel cracked, and since it is out of warranty I am seeking to replace it by buying spare parts. I know that my computer's touch control board is functioning fine, as the stylus pen and touch screen work on the entire screen, even the parts of the screen that are black due to the crack. I would like to continue using the stylus pen after replacing the panel, and would like to know if replacement L94493-001 panels will work with the stylus that came with the computer, the Sunwoda stylus active pen. Here is the relevant part information:

Computer: HP Envy x360 13-ay0008ca

Display Panel: Spare part id L94493-001, NV133FHM-N5T, BOE089D

Stylus: Spare part number 920241-001

Touch control board: Spare part number L94497-001

Yes that is the correct part number for the display panel that was delivered with your computer. If swapped in to replace the cracked screen it will restore original function. You do not need to replace the touch control board if the stylus moves the cursor with the pen all across the screen. That means the touch control board is working fine.

I have problems after replacing the touchpanel L94493-001 on my Envy x360 13-ay0257ng. My touch is working upsidedown. After replacing the controllerboard L94497-001 also, i have no touch function. Reverting back the controller to original brings back upsidedown touch function again. Any suggestions?
