HP Spectre 13 x360 rubber feet/strips issue

It is still covered under warranty. I'm getting a lot of different answers here. So here are my questions:

1) Will this fix be covered under the warranty?

2) Will I need to send in my entire laptop to get it fixed, or can I  order the strips and apply them myself?

Probably should be covered under warranty but I am afraid they will say no. The part can be purchased and rather than mess with warranty repair on something like this I would buy the part and install it myself. Or just do what I suggested and reattach them unless they have gotten stretched out or somehow been damaged. Sorry we "Experts" do not work for HP and cannot commit on how a warranty item will be handled. In my humble opinion HP should just send you new strips but I can't make that happen. Good luck.
