Hi

I bought 2 of the laptops for me and my wife. Both of the batteries have swollen causing bunch of problems. The touchpad is almost irresponsive. On my laptop it has already created a gap in the bottom cover, while for my wife it has already completely broken out.

This is unacceptable! Two high end laptops and nothing but problems since day one. Mine did not have audio working with headphones, cooling fan did not work etc. Just couldn't send back because of the work. And lots of problems for my wife's laptop too. And now this.

I have had apple mac air for years and zero problem with hardware EVER!!! I'll make sure to never buy HP ever again.

I need to know if you have issued a recall for this as apparently it is wide spread problem (for me 2 out of 2) and swollen battery is always a fire risk, no matter what you are trying to say here to your  customers!

I have already exhausted all possible options on the website.

I will probably have to open a BBB case to complain about if someone from HP doesn't contact with me to resolve this 😞

There should be a recall on this computer. 2 out of 2 of my laptops of this model both have the swollen up battery. Apparently, this is a wide spread issue that HP needs to take care of. And that swelling was not limited to battery area and has resulted in bunch of other issues like breaking the cover, touchpad not operating properly, fan not working properly etc.
