Hello,

 

I have an HP Spectre x360, 2018 model year.

 

I want to know where I can find a replacement bottom board for my laptop, as the current one will not stay on, as it was damaged a year and a half ago, I am not sure how (It was damaged by one of my fellow students (yes, that kind of people exist), as I went outside for two minutes, came back and it was damaged, a corner of the bottom board was curved inward, luckily the motherboard or any of the ports were not damaged and the damage was only cosmetic) I had managed to remove the bottom board and straighten it to my best ability. After a year and a half of usage, it has started to pop out because of the bend and I have decided to just replace it, however, there is a problem as I am from Armenia and we do not have an official HP shop here, where I can repair it, therefore I need to buy the bottom board and replace it myself (it's not that hard).

My question is can I buy the part and all of its miscellaneous parts (screws, rubber "legs" and that clear plastic wrap that goes over the screws and under the rubber) from a certified HP Shop and ship them here?

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer. 

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. Has anyone successfully repaired the back cover? I bought a replacement back cover and installed it but the cover still buckles, just like original cover. Has anyone gotten this repaired by HP without a warranty?
