Hello. I have an HP Spectre. My warranty ended in January of this year. I'm noticing that the hinges are crooked. I'm wondering if this will eventually lead to a major problem. At this time, my HP is functioning well. I'm concerned that a repair might be very expensive. I've attached a photo of the left hinge. I see what looks like some sort of rubber/plastic running through the hinge, and am hoping that a bit of "stretching" with it will not be something that will lead to a serious problem. Since this seems to be a fairly common issue with the Spectre, I'm hoping that HP has a policy addressing it. IMG_2059.jpg

Thank you,

Etoile

I also have the HP Spectre x360, however my right hand hinge appears crooked, and makes some uncomfortable sounds on occasion. It also causes the screen to sit slightly wonky when the laptop is closed. Functionally the laptop is perfectly fine, however I have concerns of device longevity, to the point it is difficult to recommend this otherwise fantastic laptop to fellow students.  In terms of repairs or replacement, is it worth it if all models in this series have the same issue?  Or just ignore the hinge and pray for the best?

Thank you.
