Hello, I was using my HP Specter, I went to turn it off and suddenly it smelled of burning and then refused to turn it on, I removed the bottom to reveal it (see the attached image). Is it a known failure? were these collected? Does anyone know if HP repairs this or if I need to get a third party repair shop? for some reason, because the images I posted have small triangles, I sent it to the imgur to show *** bleep ***

Do hp monitor these forums or know the best way to contact about these sorts of problems?

@DlH20 I understand your concern and I will bring your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.

Although, I'll need some private information from you in order to create a case for you.

Keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers, case details, etc...).
