HP Recommended

Has anyone tried the Spectre x360 13'' (I have the 13-ae004np) with the HP Elite Thunderbolt G2?

 

In the device compatibilty list it is not listed, but I was wondering if it would work. I've read somewhere that it would work even with some non-HP products.
