I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details). If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forum.

OK, so my Spectre x360 just did this exact same thing to me 2 days ago. After having a technician with a local company look at it, he referred me to this post, stating the issue is an obviously known issue within the HP community and I should try to look here for some resolution. As I have read through all the posts here, I see the sheer number of people with this problem and the frustration that it is causing. My Spectre x360 is approximately 1 yr & 5-6 months old, exactly as others have stated. This is not a coincidence. This is an obvious manufacturer defect/recall situation and should be addressed by HP as such. I am hoping that, as with many others on this forum, that someone from HP will contact me and assist me with this issue. I paid about $1,100 for my laptop direct from the HP website and for this problem to occur just outside the warranty is just absurd. And as it is clearly not localized issues, but an obvious widespan problem suffered by multiple buyers, HP should be willing to take the responsible action and repair all of these units free of charge if they are not going to announce a total recall on these units. Any assistance from a moderator here to progress my case would be greatly appreciated.
