I bought my laptop back in Nov 2021 and noticed this problem the moment I unboxed it at home and filled a complaint to HP Support. I only received an email stating my case number. I waited super long for a reply and received nothing. Since it didn’t give me any issues I decided to accept it. But today when I turned on my camera on the laptop, there’s a dark area all around my video and I figured it’s due to my screen still halfway falling out. Is it possible to fix this?

(the first photo is what I meant by my screen falling off & the second photo is what it looks like when I push and hold it in)

Welcome to the HP support community.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
