HP Spectre x-360 Swollen Battery

Similar to posts like this one, the batteries in my two HP Spectre x360 laptops are swelling and the trackpad is swelling to the point of un-usability.  I am as frustrated as everyone else this is happening.  It is a shame this did not happen 4 months ago when my warranty was ending on the laptops.  I cannot believe that a company with HP's reputation has not done something to resolve this issue.  However, based on their response to other feedback, they only care about selling more computers.  I will likely not be buying another HP notebook after this one.  I have owned several HP desktops, and those are good.  Not so sure on the laptops. Severely disappointed!

Anyway, thankful for other posts that showed me how to fix the issue.

They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact.

Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
