This price is more like it and this seller says they can repair all models:

Contact them first and they will set up a special auction for your model. I believe this shop works on the whole laptop not just the motherboard but they will give full instructions.

Thanks to huffer for posting the link to the place I used. 
FYI,

I had taken my laptop apart, thinking I was to send in just the motherboard. As it turned out, they wanted the whole laptop, so I had to reassemble it. Check about this before you end up taking it apart unnecessarily.

Good  luck. They did right by me.
