HP Spectre x360 13-4005dx Motherboard Burn short
I have about one year and 9 month old HP spectrex360 note book. It is my smart friend and has saved a lot of data place.
Yesterday, my notebook that plugin not charging battery and the battery is almost gone. I read the HP troubleshoot in hp.com
I did what it said uninstall the "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery" & uninstall in Device Manager and power on. The "Plugged In Charging" message on the Battery icon is gone. I felt it so happy it works. It is charging.
However, after about 30 seconds notebook power is short down with little electric smelling. My notebook is died and never come back. I checked inside of backside of note book like picture shows burn sport on the motherboard.
I not recommend that following the troubleshooting for plugin no charging battery because it makes some errors of electrical shorts and makes burn motherboard.
I think the HP support specialist take care of this issues because plugged in not charging troubleshoot be related with electric short motherboard and burning.
Could anyone help my hp notebook some good idea? Or Please HP help me…….
