Spectre x360 13-ae042ng
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone,

on my spectre x360 13ae042ng I got an issue with the pen input (see video). I tested it with the official PH pen and a wacoom bamboo both showing the same problem. I already gave the notebook to HP for repairing in waranty. They replaced the whole screen unit and sent it back to me.

Now (waranty already over) I got the same issue again. For repairing they now want me to pay €350,-

So before asking for a repair, has anyone got the same issue, knows where the issue comes from or even better has a solution for it?

The customer service (nice and friendly as usual 🙂 ) already led me through everything possible on software side. (drivers, BIOS, etc.)

Thanks in advance.

BR Matthias
