HP Recommended

I have a HP Spectre x360 Convertible Model 13-ap0013dx and have read online there is a known issue with the motherboard being faulty with this unit. I have one in the shop that has a no power issue, doesn't even show a charge light when plugged in. I'm reaching out to see if I can get any assistance from HP on this matter. A motherboard replacement looks to be very expensive from what I can tell from looking online. I've seen on YouTube where it was just the power button on one unit. Who has some information and knowledge on this model and this problem? Thanks
