My HP Spectre x360 has two USB-C port. The two work fine with USB device (charging and connecting).
Until recently I could plug HP USB-C dock G5 to any of them and the dock powered the computer and display windows on an external monitor.
Now only one of them is working with the HP USB-C dock G5. The other one doesn't permit to power the computer.
Windows and the HP USB-C dock G5 are up to date.
Any idea?

I suspect you can't use that problematic port with USB type-c devices either.
If only one is working, you have inadvertently broken the pins of other one.
Look in the port closely with a flashlight and magnifying glass, if needed.
It would have helped if you had identified the Spectre x360 laptop with its SKU or complete product name.
When you do not identify your desktop or laptop PC, you tie our hands behind our backs.
When logged into Windows, hold down the Windows key and tap the R key once.
That will open the Windows run dialogue
Type in msinfo32 and press enter.
The ninth line in the system summary list on the right hand side is the SKU and the HP product number. Kindly post it in your next reply in your thread.
The System SKU/Product ID will enable us to determine the hardware configuration of your notebook.

Thanks for your comment.
The product number is 6K9L2EA.
The port seems funcionning with usb-c devices (i tried phone and hard drive). I already had this problem with this port and upgrading firmware and drivers settled the problem.

Check to see if a Windows or HP driver update coincidentally happened at the same date as the dock problem.
