I have an HP SSD S700 2.5" 250GB (P/N: 2DP98AA#ABC) which I bought from Staples. HP Support doesn't recognize the serial number through either HP Support Assistant or the HP Support website. I can find my device by subtracting the "#ABC" from the P/N. I am trying to warranty the SSD, due to the fact that it only shows 1GB, even after updating registry, using diskpart in Command Prompt, reinstalling through Device Manager and Acronis, and a few others.
What is the best way to contact HP to get the SSD warrantied and repaired, without having to add the serial number?

Welcome to the HP User Community.
The"can't find the device" result appears to be typical of any device that is not tracked in the online case submission database.
I've sent your concern to be reviewed by the moderator team for escalation.
