HP Thunderbolt Dock G2 - Displayport not working

Dear all,
When I am connecting a displayport cable I see nothing at my monitor
Already tried every step of update at windows/hp software
Through the latest firmware updater Package Version 1.0.62.1 all items are updates except the DisplayPort Hub. The Installed Version is 0.0.0.0 , I am runing the avaliable upgarde at the New Version 5.4.0.5 without any error but if I run the test again I see that no uprade was made since the Installed Version remains 0.0.0.0 ......

Where do you connect to ? Are they compatible ? Please note: the dock is compatible with the following series

First of all thank you for your reply!

Before i buy this product i saw the combatibity list...but i also saw the features "Connect the included cable to your notebook to access a wired network, data, video, and charging with a dock that supports both HP and non-HP Thunderbolt and USB-C notebooks." and i also had the same feedback from the re-seller...but still as a simple user i searched it through google/youtube and saw many videos with users that they were using it even with a mac....
I am using an HP Pavilion 15-dk0031nv and connecting it via usb type c...all others ports are working fine...usb , ethernet...only the displayport and the vga can t be used

I have the exact same issue with the G2, using a Spectre x360 Convertible 15-df0xxx.

The Displayport of the Dock did already work nicely with this Laptop and so did the Monitor. It must have been an Update (may be a Windows or a HP Update, I don't know) that stopped it from working.

Hence, there should be a solution for it. Not being able to use the dock with an external monitor makes it utterly useless for me.
