HP USB-C Dock G5 - monitor is flashing or turning black, then back to normal and then black again.

Steps gone through:

- monitor tested directly to computer: no abnormalities;

- other monitor paired to docking station: same fault;

- computer rebooted: same issue;

- docking station disconnected for 15 seconds: same fault;

- downloaded and installed new firmware: no result.

Thanks for the feedback. As the problem kept coming back, I contacted Dutch support desk. Problem seems to be in the hardware.
