Hello! I have HP Victus 15.6 with Ryzen 7 5800H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU.
I`ve seen a video where they disassembled the laptop. It had CPU fan and GPU fan. But mine seems to have only one fan where CPU is. Because only this one works and hot air is blown out only from this side (left side if I look at the screen). So right side is always a little hot.
Speedfan app recognizes only 1 CPU fan too.
So is it normal? Or my laptop should have 2 working fans but not one? I can not understand.

NOTE: The computer fan starts up automatically to cool
internal components and prevent overheating. It's normal
for the internal fan to cycle on and off during routine
operation.

from what i see a dual fan system (probably) which is used with system heat sink , for both system component, processor, and graphics
So it will certainly be impossible to identify, if one or the other of the fans works via software or not!
Now, on the other hand, you should perhaps be able to check if there is overheating or not.

Hi:
Both the service manual (chapter 6, page 46) and the service teardown video show two fans in the model series.
Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)
Removing and replacing the system fans begins at minute 18:11.
I recommend that you contact HP customer support in your country for further assistance as this is a peer-to-peer forum and we don't work for or represent HP.
