Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-s1000 (90P67AV)

Hello dear Community!

I have a question for you and hope you can help me.

I have an HP Victus 16 gaming laptop. My question relates to the 230-watt power supply, or more specifically,
the power plug that plugs into the power supply from the wall outlet.

Down below are pictures of the connection.
Unfortunately, I am not able to upload a video here.

You can move the plug up and down in the power supply, even though it's fully inserted.

You have to use quite a bit of force to plug it in, and it's actually firmly seated and doesn't slip out on its own.

I can't see any damage to either the plug or the power supply; visually, everything looks fine.

However, you can move the plug up and down a few millimeters vertically. It doesn't move horizontally, though.

Does anyone have experience with this and can tell me if this is normal?

If this isn't normal, what can I do?

Thank you very much!

Best regards,
Alarion
