I have HP Victus laptop and I want to upgrade motherboard and processor for it. I'm still in HP warranty so is there any option available for upgrade/replace motherboard?
I'm ready to pay additional charges.
Model: Processor AMD Ryzen 5 5600H with Radeon Graphics, 3301 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s)

Hi @Ganeshh
you can only change the motherboard, the processor is soldered to the motherboard, if it is under warranty you lose the warranty to make that change, the compatible motherboards can be seen in the service manual use the part number of the board that interests you, do an internet search to find a reseller.

Hi @resistencia,
Thanks for your response.
My laptop is under warranty. Is there any way I can upgrade through official HP service centre where I can exchange the motherboard, get new one installed and pay the difference?

the motherboard costs about 50% of the cost of the entire laptop. I don't see the benefit, buy a new laptop and sell the one you currently own.
