Hello everyone,
Recently, the keyboard for the HP Zbook X2 G4 Detachable Workstation has stopped working whilst attached to the Laptop. I had to detach it, and connect it via Bluetooth. It just doesnt react. As soon as I reattach it to the device, the keyboard stops working. Then, when I detach it again, I have to hold the small bluetooth button for a few seconds for it to work again.
I am using Windows 10 64 bit. It is the 1TB SSD/32GB RAM Version of the Laptop.
Any help would be great, thanks!

I also have the same issue. It works on bluetooth but once attached it stops working. I tried all the followoing without luck
1. removed the bluetooth connected device reconnected it
2. reset keyboard by pressing the button for 30 sec
3. removed all keyboards from device manager
All without luck. The keyboard attached also doesn't work in the startup so within BIOS. So my conclusion is that it is not a Windows issues because the operating system has not started yet.

I returned the laptop to the supplier. After the keyboard isseus More issue started to arrise on my laptop. They replaced the motherboard. The quality of the x2 g4 is not very good. After replacement starting the laptops gives black screen need to reset it 3 to 4 times before it start. Disappointed on this very expensive laptop!
