Pavilion CC-129 TX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, My pavilion Laptop gets power off when I plugged in the power cable, and on powering on again it shows a message saying that your battery power is very less than normal. The battery needs to be replaced. When I perform hp diagnostics the results show "Cancelled". Kindly help me to know what is the problem and how can it be solved.

Unfortunately, some model Pavilions will not run when the battery is really low, even with a charger plugged it -- and if that is the case with yours, it is probably cancelling the test because it would not be able to complete it.

You can check the battery to some extent using Powershell built into Windows 10. as follows:
1) Press Windows key + X
2) Click Powershell in the menu
3) Type powercfg /batteryreport

This will generate a report and if you scroll down, you will see Design Capacity and Full Charge Capacity ratings. If the Full Charge Capacity is less than 50% of the Design Capacity, it is faulty and needs to be replaced.

Also note the figure alongside the "Cycle Count". This tells how many times the battery has been fully recharged. A typical battery can handle around 500 charge cycles, but some will fail sooner than that.

this is what I have got; both design capacity and full charge capacity are the same;  but the cycle count shows nothing. What is the effect
