How long does the HP laptop repair take? I sent in my laptop in early December, because one of the hinges broke, and it's been over a month. I don't understand why it's taking so long, and every time I call support, they always say "parts shortage". I don't understand how you can have a parts shortage for over a month. I need my laptop back now for work, and I'm tired of HP's terrible customer service. Why can't this simply just give me a new laptop? Had I known it would take this long, I would have repaired it myself.
As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.
