Unsure???
Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

15-dy1xxx vs15 or 15- dy1032wm

I bought a HP Laptop 15-dy1032wm. On the Bottom of case, the Model number is 15-dy1032wmn . When i look at the HP support assistant it is 15-dy1xxx, in settings/about it's dy1xxx.  After i made my HP account to be able to comment here, in HP assistant it shows dy1032. and then i checked settings/about still dy1xxx.

What computer do i have here? I see that the specs are the same but it's switching around. I want to make sure my computer is not some Frankenstein device built from the shell of one product and the mind of another.

It is 15-dy1032wm.

15-dy1xxx is its series and xxx can be from 000 to 999. In your case, probably you bought your machine from Walmart therefore it has wm at the end.

Regards.
