15-db0019nw (5KT67EA)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Notebook available in Poland at:

https://www.x-kom.pl/p/469919-notebook-laptop-156-hp-15-ryzen-3-2200u-4gb-1tb-win10.html

Specs:

Model: 15-db0019nw (5KT67EA)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 2200U / 4GB RAM / 1TB HDD / FULLHD SCREEN

My questions are:

1. What M.2 disk can be used in this model so that the reading speed is above 2500MB/s??? I am asking for specific models.

2. Does this notebook have an IPS screen?

3. What is the PPI screen in the screen 1920x1080??

4. In my current laptop (HP 8470p) the DVD-RW drive works with the SATA3 6Gb/s interface . How fast does the DVD-RW drive in HP 15-db0019nw (5KT67EA) work?  SATA1 / SATA2 or SATA3 ???  I want to mount a disk SSD there in my MultiBay pocket...

5. How much RAM does the AMD Ryzen 3 laptop support?  2x8GB?  2x16GB?

6. Is the DDR4-4GB memory present in the laptop soldered permanently? How many ports are free?
I need a laptop with a minimum memory of 16GB (2 x 8GB).
Is this possible in this model?

7. What type of memory is there? SO-DIMM DDR4-2400 or SO-DIMM DDR4-2133?

8. in UEFI BIOS csm support is enabled or disabled?

9. Where is the Windows 10 key? In UEFI  bios?

10. Does this laptop have USB 3.1? In Poland they say: USB 3.1 Gen. 1 (USB 3.0) - 2 pcs.
Is it finally USB 3.0 or USB3.1?

I am asking you for answers. In Poland, I am waiting for the second month and I can not wait. Nobody knows the details about this laptop.

Thank you very much for your answers and best regards from Poland. Such a small country in the east of Europe 🙂

Here is the Service Manual for that model:

Some questions can be answered from the Forum and some not:

1. PCIe/NVME M.2 is supported so 2500 mbps will not be a problem. Samsung Evo 970 or 970 Plus is an example but WD Black Adata SX8200, etc. would get you there.

2. 220 nit screen and specs do not say IPS so I am thinking this is a standard average screen

3. I think I answered above. These are not high-end screens in this model series.

4. This is hard to say. In most HP models the DVD SATA port is SATA-2.

5. Ryzen models have been shown to accept up to 2 x 16 gigs = 32 of DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM. Official maximum is 2 x 8 = 16 but from reports of purchasers we know 32 gigs will work.

6. The memory is socketed and there are two slots so 2 removable modules.

7. See above.

8. CSM is not going to be an option so you can run legacy OS'es...there is a BIOS simulator available online:

https://h20574.www2.hp.com/Media/AAA333A9-159D-4538-BD47-F1DB683DADF8/Exit.html

9. Windows 10 Key is embedded in UEFI BIOS and also activation credentials are stored in Microsoft activation servers so no Key really needed.

10. Ports are USB 3.1

Hope this helps. Understand we do not work for HP (most Experts) so we have no proprietary information to give. This is all answered from publicly available information and is believed but not guaranteed to be right.

Thank you very much for your help and answer.
Computer retailers in Poland are very dishonest. Deliberately mislead buyers. That's why you need to make sure before buying. Sorry for my English. In Poland, stores describe that this laptop has an IPS screen. They also describe that only RAM DDR4-2133 works.
I currently have HP 8470p for several years. It's very good, but the screen is old (my eyes hurt when I work 8-10 hours). In the HP 8470p model, the DVDRW recorder works with SATA3, checked using the ADATA SU900 drive, it is full 6 Gb / s.

Poland is a strange country. Here HP 15 costs 1699-1999 PLN (400-470 €), and I, as a cashier, I earn in the shop 550 € a month 🙂 🙂
