HP x4000b Bluetooth mouse worked great for over a year after purchase. Then I allowed Microsoft to update to Windows 10 Pro, Version 20H2, OS Build 19042.928, Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0. Now the mouse stops working whenever it wants to. There is no apparent pattern of when the mouse stops responding. For example, it isn't timing out every 15 minutes, it stops working at random. It stops during activity or no activity at 2 hours, 1 hour, or 5 minutes. I tried new batteries in the mouse. I have tried pairing the mouse several times. Windows reports the correct driver for both the Bluetooth adapter and mouse. I have tried removing both the Bluetooth Adapter and mouse using device manager. Windows automatically detected and reinstalled the devices. I found that if I slide the mouse power switch off then on again, it also comes back. I see that there are several complaints about the same thing in your forum but I didn't see anyone mentioning the Windows update. Maybe that is a clue? - Thanks

Hi I don't have an answer but I have the same kind of issue. My computer was idle for a week and when I came back to it the mouse has gotten weird. It is paired but the cursor does not move. I have changed batteries, unpaired, repaired, rebooted.
I have two of this but one says I2C HiD and the other says Bluetooth HID, both say the driver is up to date.
This is shortly after doing a bunch of windows updating too. I wonder if I am desperate enough to actually uninstall these updates. It's my favorite mouse in modern times and I'm so mad it is messed up and there is almost no trace of anybody talking about it..
Also mine is not intermittent, it hasn't worked since only is visible and paired
but no cursor action.
