Hi, I've been trying to connect my HP ZBook Firefly 14 inch G8 to a Apple Thunderbolt Display.

Reading the forums, I had hoped to be able to make this work. But the Intel Thunderbolt Control Centre doesn't register the Thunderbolt coming through, so you can't update any drivers to make this work.

Setup:

HP ZBook Firefly 14 inch G8

Apple Thunderbolt Display

Apple Thunderbolt 2 to 3 adapter

Windows 10 1909

What I've done so far:
Updated HP and Intel drivers

Reset BIOS

Checked BIOS for Thunderbolt connection.

All other connects through the Thunderbolt ports work fine. Eg. HDMI, USB-C, Power Adapter.

Any insights or correct HP / Intel drivers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

@Jonoswan -- do you have access to another notebook computer -- friend? relative? neighbour? -- where you can try to connect your display to that computer?

Hi, the Thunderbolt Display works fine with my personal Macbook Pro.

As we are currently working from home here, I don't have access to any other laptops with Thunderbolt to check the connection.

I believe I have the wrong or old drivers installed, which is why this isn't working.

Any help on the updates for the Thunderbolt drivers would be great.
