I want to know if my Nvme slots are running at 3x4 or 3x2 speed, I don't wanna spend extra money on an SSD that my device doesn't even utilize it's full performance

HP does not publish that information, so no one would be able to provide that information to you.

 

What I can tell you is that the M.2 SSD slot supports both NVMe and SATA SSD's so there is a remote possibility that the M.2 slot is PCIe x2, but it is most likely PCIe x4.

 

The slot generation is 3.0.
