Hi,

I have HP250 G3 notebook and would like to install a SSD as a secondary drive. Does this model support SSD? If it does, which one to choose?

Thanks 🙂

Hi,

The notebook does not have a slot for a second drive.

So, your only choice is to replace the 2.5" HDD with a 2.5" SATA3 SSD such as the Crucial MX500 or similar.

On page 53 of service manual you can see the steps to replace the drive

You will need to reinstall the OS on the SSD. It will give a great performance gain in everyday use.

Hope it helps,

David
