Receive notice that HP has recall for Envy computer battery due to possible battery fire.
How do I get the replacement battery?
Computer is extremely slow after receiving battery notice.
CAN SOMEONE HELP ME WITH THIS?

To assist you better, did you run a Battery test? Did you get any failure code?
- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- Perform Component Test > Battery.
Yes, there is an HP Notebook Computer Battery Safety Recall and Replacement Program. For more info, refer to this article.
Download and install the HP Battery Program Validation Utility which will check if your product is affected and eligible for a replacement.
