If you want to be 100% sure

Create <USB flash drive> type 2.0 and 3.0 for Solution A

Create <USB flash drive> type 2.0 and 3.0 for Solution B

So you will have a least 4 <USB flash drives> in your hand...

Report back if you are ready

Good luck

Hello Again,

I’ve been stuck at the “Search for and Download the HP Recovery Tool from the Microsoft store, because no matter where I click, I can’t find an option to Download.  My second computer is a Mac.  Is that why?

I feel so stupid!  Why can’t I find it?  I’ve inserted the USB.

Use another Windows computer. Ask a friend/neighbor/acquaintance for help

Kind regards

Hello once again,

I thought I followed all the steps but but can not get the computer to boot.  I’m going to guess this means I didn’t install the new hard drive correctly.

Hello @Xioblack

(1) Enter BIOS and check if hard drive is detected.

(2) Please report back
