Product: Example: Pavilion 15 p001tx

My windows  stopped booting up. When I performed the hard drive test from the hp diagnostic(short one ), the short dst test failed and showed the below failure code

Sadly to say: Most of the time the 24 char disk failure id indicates the HDD is failing and it needs to be replaced.. Is it still under warranty ? If NOT, you have to replace yourself then rebuild your machine.

 

For Windows 7 and Windows 10. Please use Cloud Recovery tool:

My PC has also Ubuntu installed alongside with windows. What's also happening is that windows is not able to even Boot up while Ubuntu successfully boots up. Can you please explain this??
