Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi all i had to do a system quick test and it come up woth a hard drive short DST check failed and a coad witch i cant find out how to fix the coad is PGECXK-8ATA3G-XD7X7F-60RC03 can anyone help

Hi:

 

The error code reported, Hard Disk 1 Quick Test Failure, means the hard drive needs to be replaced and the operating system reinstalled.

 

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

After you replace the drive, you can reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook, by using the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive.

 

Here is an info link for how to use that utility...You will need to have access to another working Windows PC, and a 32 GB USB flash drive.

Then I suppose you will have to take it to a PC repair shop to get it fixed.
