@Nqobile97, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If your HP 15-ra0xx laptop is unable to start up and you're advised to visit the HP technical center for diagnostics, here are some preliminary steps you can follow to resolve the issue:

Confirm Power Supply:

  • Make sure your laptop is properly connected to a power source.
  • Ensure that the power adapter and power cable are functioning correctly.
  • Look for any signs of damage on the power components.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery (if removable).
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the battery and the power adapter, then try starting your laptop again.

Use HP Diagnostics:

  • Reboot your laptop and repeatedly press the F2 key to access the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics.
  • Run the "System Tests" to check for any hardware issues.
  • If you identify any specific error codes during the test, note them down for further assistance.

Safe Mode Boot:

  • Attempt to boot your laptop in Safe Mode by restarting and pressing the F8 key before Windows starts.
  • See if the laptop starts in this mode, which could help diagnose software issues.

BIOS Reset:

  • Restart your laptop and press F10 to enter the BIOS setup.
  • Once in the BIOS, reset it to default settings.
  • Save changes and exit to check if the problem is resolved.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
