Hello there. I would like to know if my notebook supports hardware acceleration or not ? I have GPU but I am not sure about the hardware acceleration.
And If it does how do i activate/deactivate it ?
Similarly i would also like to know about the virtualization feature. I know my notebook supports that but should i enable it ? And will enabling it, cause any increase in battery consumption or slow my notebook ?
I tried to find on different forums and google for the appropriate methods, but I couldn't find any.
I have currently windows 10 (64-bit) operating system.
Thank you.

Yes you can use the hardware acceleration option on something like Adobe Photoshop, Google Earth or in your web browser. Having said that, with an Intel integrated video card, you will not be getting a lot of acceleration out of the video card because it is a low-powered video system. As far as virtualization, the only reason to enable it is if you are running a virtual machine which is a computer within a computer. For example you can set up a Linux computer you launch from your desktop and all the hardware stuff is mimicked in software. If you do not know what that is or how to use it do not mess with virtualization. It will do you no good although enabling it will not really make anything run any differently.
Post back with any more questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.
