Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop has been having some battery issues, so I ran a hardware diagnostics test on my battery. The test failed, giving a failure ID of Q4SMVQ-8229GP-XD7WMA-C0AX13. Does anyone know what this means, and where I go from here?

As you've performed relevant troubleshooting steps and battery test failed with failure ID.

 

I would request you to contact our Phone Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out.

  • Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/
  • Select the product type.
  • Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
  • Select the country from the drop-down.
  • You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
