Hello again - I hope you are well. I bought and installed the Travelstar 1T hard drive you recommended and am now trying to load Windows on it. Which edition of Win 10 do I select - as it has to match whatever the free upgrade was for my digital entitlement to work!

Depends on what it was upgraded from to Windows 10. Odds are it is plain old Windows 10 (Home) 64 bit. But if it had Windows 7 Pro it would have upgraded to Windows 10 Pro.

Okay thanks. I had Win 7 Home Premium 64 so I downloaded Win 10 Home x64 on a flash drive. I booted it from that and chose my language settings, accepted the terms & conditions, then clicked "Set Up". It then asks me for a Product Key, which I do not physically have for Win 10 - I have the digital entitlement license. So I clicked on Skip and now I have to select which choice: UPGRADE OR CUSTOM? I believe I should select CUSTOM (Advanced) but want to make sure. Please advise - thanks!

Or should I have entered my Windows 7 product key when asked, instead of hitting SKIP?

Skip is right...custom allows clean install so that is right, too.
