I understand that windows use hardware reserved ram for microsoft play ready. But i cant understand why this reserved ram is too much. And why we have to keep play ready? No utilities. I can understand that value of hardware reserved ram can be 510MB or less. But why more we upgrade ram and more reserved ram will be allocate to this program. And nothing we can do to solve it because we cant access to some settings of our own laptop buying with our own money. Very disappointed with my purchase. I loved hp and its was my favorite laptop but now i wanna sell my laptop and buy a new different to hp.

Got the same issue with an HP 690-0024. 16gb of ram, 2.1 used for hardware reserve. I understand it's for the vega 11 graphics, but what do you do when you have a GPU and you don't use the vega 11 graphics. Any thoughts?
