Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a few questions regarding my laptop's upgradeability:

1) This laptop already has an SSD in the m.2 slot, can I insert another into the empty 2.5in bay?

2) it has two sodimm slots, can I remove the OEM ram and install a 2*8gb kit?

And finally,

3) Can all this be done without voiding the warranty?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have 128 GB M.2 SSD installed on the PC.
To get the answer to this question, parts which is mounted on the motherboard cannot be modified. Ram is non-accessible/non-upgradeable.

  • NOTE: HP does not recommend upgrading or downgrading hardware parts or software that is bundled with the product as It may affect the manufacturer's warranty and performance, however, you could change the configuration at your own discretion.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Because you were a bit delayed in your response, I did my own research and found out that I CAN upgrade both. I went ahead and installed a 2*8gb kit to replace the stock 8gb. You were wrong, I can upgrade the ram but I need the SSD gasket and cable for the other upgrade.
