Can anybody please advise if I can upgrade to an SSD and RAM on my Envy. Its still a very good computer but getting quite old and slow now.

Hi Nick,

 

Your PC supports max 16GB of DDR3 1600Mhz RAM (2x8GB)

You can use DDR3L 1600Mhz RAM . On page 44 of service manual you can see the steps to replace RAM.

Your PC should also support an mSata SSD. However I would repace the HDD with a 2.5" SSD such as the Samsung 860 evo and perform a clean install of the OS on it.
