Hi,
Thanks for your time and help.
I have a HP probook 450 G2. I am trying to build a work station that would include 2 monitors and a docking station.
I am not completely ignorant when it comes to technology, but found it hard to find which docking station would work best etc.
Ideally, I would like a docking station that would allow me to upgrade my laptop at some point without the need to purchase a new one (if that's even possible).
As to the monitors, both will be used at the same time obviously. One needs to be 27" or larger, the other between 23" and 27".
All recommendations for which docking station and what monitors to get are welcome and appreciated.
PS: this is not for gaming.
Have a great day.

Bad news. 450 G2 has no docking port so all you can do is use a USB 3.0 port replicator which will not power the laptop.
There are however USB 3.0 port replicators which can handle 2 monitors. Typically you will not be able to have a greater resolution than 1920 x 1080 from USB 3.0 however.

That is indeed odd because the 450 G2 Service Manual does not show a docking port and the specs for the ultraslim dock do not show the 450 G2 as a compatible model.
Seriously, trying to help here but you have the advantage of being in possession of the hardware.
