Guys i want to upgrade from HDD to M.2 based SSD but i didn't find any port inside to plug that card. I wish if someone could help me with product description/maintenance and service guide for HP Pavilion 15-ab219tx.
Thank you

Here's the Manual:
The Manual mentions an M.2 SSD but nowhere shows an image of how to install one and consensus is that there must be a adapter plate HP planned to use for that as there is no M.2 slot on the motherboard.

Post back with any more questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.

Thank you sir. but it didn't help me bcoz mine is not the Star War edition and the manual you have provided is for different model.
Anyhow I disassemble the laptop to see whether it has a M.2 port in the other side of motherboard and found nothing.
As of now HP has connected the HDD to the motherboard using a strip which has 10 pins i.e., the strip has 10 conducting lines at one end and its connected to the MB while other end has a SATA female connector to which the HDD is attached. So I was wondering that, if there is something like the connector i mentioned above is available to which a M.2 SSD can be attached. And one more thing, where can I find PCIe port in a laptop?
Please someone help me....

HP has posted the Star Wars manual under your model so the Manual does cover your model as the Star Wars is based on the same platform. An M.2 adapter that connected to the motherboard with a zif cable would have to be a SATA M.2 and it makes no sense to buy a SATA M.2 disk and need extra hardware to attach it when you can just get a 2.5 inch SATA SSD and connect it using the same hardware you already have for the hard drive.
What pcie port do you want to try to find in your laptop. The only such slot would be for the wireless card and that is spelled out in the Manual.

Sir, I've bought the 2.5 inch SATA SSD from crucial as per guidance. Now where will i get the latest version of OS i.e., Win 10 and how to activate after installation.
Note - I've a set of recovery DVD's and recovery partition is still there in the HDD. But I'm not sure whether it will be of any use.
And my comments on your last reply.
Your point is right, that a zif cable attached with a M.2 connector means nothing. It's nothing more than a SATA M.2. But what if that 10 pin zif cable port (to which the HDD/DVD ROM is connected) directly connected to the CPU or a part of PCIe. And hp has just removed the actual M.2 port just to save the space. What if the laptop is packed with that view then there is a possibility that i can install a M.2 NVMe based SSD right. Pls give ur comments.

Microsoft Media Cration Tool site (just google that) has an open and free download of Windows 10. If Windows 10 was ever activated on your computer then it will reactivate automatically upon reinstallation. Just that easy.
No possibility for M.2 NVME I am not sure what you are describing about a zif cable attaching to the processor. To allow NVME there must be an M.2 port.
