Hello,

 

The left hinge of my HP ENVY x360 just broke or got stuck, the screen popped loose down in the corner and split from the lid.

 

My warranty ran out in August 2021. This happened without any drop, mishandling or misuse. I have noticed that a lot of people have apparently faced this issue with this particular product line. I paid around INR 79,999( roughly USD 1100) for this laptop and a little over a year, this issue has come up.  Obviously, there is a major design/durability flaw with the hinge. HP must offer an extended warranty for this issue if it is so common.

Kindly provide me with a solution for this issue. My laptop was purchased in India and I am currently living in Berlin, Germany.
