Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fb0000 (598U9AV)

I own an HP Victus Gaming Laptop 15-fa0xxx, and recently, the hinge broke, which appears to be a manufacturing defect. I have noticed that many other Victus users are facing the same issue, which raises concerns about the overall durability of the product.

The hinge problem occurred shortly after my warranty expired on March 03, 2025, and if not resolved soon, it could lead to display damage and higher repair costs. This issue seems to be a design flaw affecting multiple users.

I purchased my laptop from Croma and also opted for the ZipCare package. After contacting ZipCare customer services, I was informed that this is indeed a manufacturing defect by HP.

Has anyone found a solution, or has HP officially acknowledged this issue? I would appreciate any guidance on how to get this resolved, preferably with a free repair or replacement

Looking forward to your responses.
