I have taken meticulous care of my HP Envy Laptop [ no travel, not dropped, etc] Warrently expired August 2024. Just within past months the left side hinge to screen has locked up. One day I closed the screen on the laptop and when I opened it, the hinge broke through and cracked the left hand corner of the screen. I have been unsuccessful in getting any online support and finally talked to an agent who told me 'sorry' warranty expired. I see this is a common problem with HP laptops, along with the problem of poor support service. Anyone have suggestions or recieved any help with your same problem(s) [replacing the hinge and the screen and obtaining customer support?]
